Learning Goals

The purpose of this training is to equip participants with the skills to use AVEVA E3D Design applications efficiently across equipment design, piping design, basic civil works design, and structural design.

Target Participants

The AVEVA E3D Design Model user training is intended for technical professionals with no prior experience in AVEVA software.

Day 1 : Foundations
  • Introduction to general concepts, including features and graphical manipulations
  • Creation of basic equipment models

Day 2 : Equipment Modelling
  • Equipment design using the Model Editor feature
  • Introduction to basic civil works

Day 3 : Pipework Modelling
  • Piping design
  • Creation of components
  • Piping assemblies

Day 4 : Pipework Modelling
  • Advanced piping design, Modifications
  • Quality checks
  • Introduction to the “quick routing”
  • Isometric deliverable production

Day 5 : Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Modelling & Cable tray Modelling
  • Creation of personal reports, BOM, MTO
  • Creation of HVAC
  • Creation of Cable tray

Day 6 :Structural Modelling
  • Steel structure creation

Day 7 : Structural Modelling
  • Advanced steel structure creation, modification, panel and joints creation
