AVEVA E3D Design – Piping Catalogues & Specifications Essential Training (3 Days)
Learning Goals
This training course is designed for piping designers and engineers with prior experience in AVEVA Plant or Marine Pipework Modelling. It introduces the principles of creating catalogue components and piping specifications using the AVEVA Catalogue Paragon module.

The AVEVA Piping Catalogue Administration training is intended for technical professionals with an existing foundation in AVEVA software.

Day 1
- Paragon overview and benefits
- Using Catalogue Explorer for Catalogue, Properties, Model, and Draw databases
- Creating categories and components (elbow, tube, flange, etc.)
- Building point sets and geometry sets
Day 2
- Part family and GPART creation
- GPART attribute assignment (3D models, 3D templates, Draw symbols)
- SKEY configuration for IsoDraft
- Component category and component creation (tees, reducers, valves)
Day 3
- Branch, reducer, bore, and specification table creation
- Connection compatibility tables
- Properties data setup
- Piping specification creation and maintenance
