Measurement tools have been updated and simplified at this release with the addition of options to the Measure 3D View context menu.
The dimension representation can now be toggled between two displays via the Display axis option:
- Direct line and measurement between two points.
- Direct line and measurement between two points with additional component XYZ distances.
In addition, it is possible to change the displayed units of measurement via the context menu (Change unit), with unit options presented via a secondary context menu.
Unit selection can also be input directly to the context editor.
The Direction, Distance and Offset context menu options are all used to capture component measurement data and write it to the clipboard to support a cut and paste operation.
As with similar operations, the measurement operation can be finished and started by pressing the spacebar(provided measurement was the last operation used). This allows for continuous measurement without the need to navigate to the ribbon.
